The Sousse Regional Chamber

Under Article 34 of Organic Law No. 2019-41 of 30 April 2019, the Sousse Regional Chamber of the Court of Audit exercises the powers conferred on the Court with respect to regional and local administrative authorities, public institutions and enterprises, and all bodies, whatever their name, in whose capital the State, local authorities or public institutions and enterprises hold an interest, and whose principal office or place of activity is within the Regional Chamber’s territorial jurisdiction.

The Chamber also exercises the powers provided for in Article 13 of that law with respect to political parties, associations, cooperatives, and private institutions and bodies, whatever their name, whose registered office falls within its territorial jurisdiction.

In exercising the Court of Audit’s judicial jurisdiction, the Chamber issues judgments at first instance.

Under the decision of the First President of the Court of Audit dated 20 January 2020, published in Official Gazette No. 12 of 11 February 2020, the territorial jurisdiction of this Chamber comprises the governorates of Jendouba and Le Kef. Pending the establishment of the Béja Regional Chamber, the territorial jurisdiction of the Jendouba Regional Chamber currently extends to the governorates of Béja and Siliana.
