Court of Audit participates in the annual INTOSAI Working Group meeting on the Sustainable Development Goals

To strengthen international cooperation and exchange expertise among supreme audit institutions, the Court of Audit participated remotely in the annual meeting of the INTOSAI Working Group on SDG Indicators (WGSDG KSDI), held on 15 and 16 April 2026 in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.

During a session devoted to sharing experiences and best practices concerning Sustainable Development Goals 1; 2; and 5, the Court presented its experience in auditing implementation of Target 1.3 of Goal 1, on ending poverty, and outlined the main methodologies used and lessons learned. This participation reflects the Court of Audit’s commitment to monitoring implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by auditing progress on these goals in accordance with the relevant international standards. The meeting offered an opportunity to strengthen exchanges among supreme audit institutions and improve the quality of work related to auditing the Sustainable Development Goals. The participating institutions, particularly the Russian supreme audit institution in its capacity as chair of the INTOSAI working group, commended the significance of the Tunisian Court of Audit’s experience in this area.
